Spanish Speaking Productivity Specialist/Trainer

The Effective Edge (TEE), a 16 year-old productivity coaching and training company in Austin, TX, is seeking an energetic and dynamic professional to join our training team. TEE works with Fortune 1000 companies through live, remote and online training and coaching that gives professionals the tools to manage their work effectively, increase their productivity, reduce their stress and transform their lives.
We deliver the highest quality productivity training throughout the US and abroad. The courses combine soft skills and technical skills that allow participants to leave our courses with a renewed sense of focus, clarity and relief. The EDGE System is practical and immediately usable - and you are the motivator and model.
As a TEEam, we collectively work on projects and engage in continually providing our clients with WOW service. Each trainer also contributes to various projects, including our blog (effectiveedge.com/blog), newsletter and product development projects. All TEE team members participate in weekly team meetings as well as quarterly team off-sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver live, instructor-led individual productivity courses with excellence, the highest level of customer care and professionalism achieving minimal required scores consistently.
- Deliver an average of 8 one-day classes, at client sites, per month.
- Travel at least 50% of the time, routinely 75-90%, with attention to detail and maintaining a professional attitude and energy for meeting TEE and client obligations.
- Contribute to various team projects including writing occasional articles for our team blog, providing feedback for our monthly newsletter and participating in development projects.
- Participate in monthly team meetings and quarterly/semi-annual team planning sessions.
Required experience, talents, skills and abilities:
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional business experience.
- Two (2) years of corporate training experience with a general understanding of business and how it runs and works.
- Demonstrated mastery in delivering technical and soft skills training materials to professionals.
- An energetic, dynamic, confident and engaging style in the classroom.
- A reassuring presence for participants as the class challenges participants to adopt new habits which can be uncomfortable for them.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook and/or Lotus Notes.
- Experience with MS Sharepoint 2007 or 2010.
- Professional dress and appearance.
- The ability to be flexible and think on your feet when unexpected circumstances arise.
- High customer focus and exceptional customer care.
- Being able to take initiative, deliver work on time and stay on schedule while juggling multiple projects.
- Dedicated team member who values other team members and their contributions.
- The ability to make and keep agreements.
- Model work and life effectiveness and balance in their own life.
- A commitment to personal growth and a love of learning.
